Logging in using an authenticator
(without DigiD)

What do you need?

1. Your username and password for MijnZwitserleven
2. An authenticator app on your phone, such as Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator

1. Visit MijnZwitserleven

   Visit mijn.zwitserleven.nl and choose to log in with your username and password (not DigiD).

2. Fill in your username and password

   Enter your credentials and click ‘Log In’. MijnZwitserleven will then prompt you for two-step verification.

3. Download an authenticator app (if you don’t have one yet)

   If you already have an authenticator app, skip this step.

   If not:

   1. A QR code will appear on the screen.
   2. Open your phone’s camera.
   3. Point the camera at the QR code.
   4. Tap the link that pops up to download the app.

4. Connect your account to the authenticator app

   Open your authenticator app.

   1. Select ‘Add account’.
   2. Scan the QR code displayed on the screen.
   3. Your MijnZwitserleven account is now connected.

5. A 6-digit code will appear. Enter this code on MijnZwitserleven.

   The app generates a new code every 30 seconds.

6. You're logged in!

   Next time, simply:

   1. Enter your username and password.
   2. Then use the new code from your authenticator app.
