View your pension scheme
In many cases, a pension scheme already includes an arrangement for your surviving dependants to receive a benefit. Pension for your partner
A partners pension ensures that your partner receives pension income if you die. This may already be included as standard in your pension scheme. But in some cases, you can still make your own choices about this.

If you die before your retirement date, your children may receive an orphans pension. Whether this has already been arranged depends on your pension scheme. In some cases, you can also switch it on or off yourself.
