  • Ruud van Doorn – Director of Buyouts & Corporate Development

    Ruud is the Director of Buyouts & Corporate Development at Athora, focusing on insured solutions for pension obligations, also known as ‘pension risk transfer.’ He is an actuary (AAG) with 20 years of experience in transferring pension risks, gained in the Netherlands and the United Kingdom. Recently, Ruud has led some of the largest and most innovative pension buyout processes in the Dutch market, resulting in guaranteed and inflation-proof pensions for the many members involved.

  • Marc Bout – Senior Byouts Specialist Commerce

    As a Senior Buyouts Specialist Commerce, Marc primarily focuses on the buyout market and pensions already in payment. Marc is an actuary with 35 years of experience in the pension sector, working for insurers, (actuarial) consultancy firms, and pension administration organizations. He is a driven professional who enjoys collaborating to develop sustainable and practical solutions together..

  • Herman van den Broek – External Account Manager

    Herman van den Broek is a pension professional who has been proudly embodying the Zwitserleven feeling for over 14 years. His area of expertise and specialization focuses on three main areas: building pensions for corporates, disbursing them, and, not to forget, buyouts. The recently introduced Future Pensions Act provides a strong incentive for employers and pension funds to initiate a transition or adopt a new course. Herman is eager to leverage his expertise to initiate and successfully complete transition processes together.

    Arjen van Zanten is an experienced and results-driven sales and organizational manager in the financial services sector. With a background in pensions, insurance, and asset management, he has held roles such as Director of Sales at Zwitserleven and CEO of the Zwitserleven PPI. He has a strong track record in commercial growth, strategic transitions such as the implementation of the Future Pensions Act, and leading teams through complex change processes. Additionally, he is active as a speaker, guest lecturer, and is involved in various industry organizations.
