Are you building up a pension through your employer with Zwitserleven? If so, you receive a UBS (Uniform Benefit Statement) every year. In MijnZwitserleven, you can find your UBS (Uniform Benefit Statement) under ‘Documenten’.
Go to zwitserleven.nl/mijnzwitserleven and log in securely with your DigiD. If you do not have a DigiD, you can also create a Zwitserleven account.
What is a UBS?
The UBS (Uniform Benefit Statement) gives you insight into your pension situation. It gives you a quick and easy overview of what you can expect when you retire.
Information on your UBS
Your UBS shows how much pension income you will receive later. You can see the pension you have already accrued, and the pension you are expected to accrue if you continue working for this employer until your retirement date. Do you have a partner and/or children? If so, you can also read what they will receive if you die.
Good to know
The amounts on your UBS are based on the data as at 31 December last year. Changes in, for example, salary, part-time percentage and the pension scheme itself affect your final pension. Would you like insight into the development of your pension accrual? If so, you can compare the new UBS with the UBS from the previous year.
See the pension scheme rules for full information about your pension scheme.
The UPO also shows favourable and unfavourable scenarios
In MijnZwitserleven, you can see the amount of your expected pension income. And what happens if things turn out better or worse.
Your UPO shows how much pension you can expect if things turn out better or worse. In the section “If things turn out better or worse”, we show three scenarios. We calculate these scenarios according to the so-called Uniform Calculation Method (URM). These scenarios give you insight into the purchasing power of your pension. How much will your pension still be worth when you retire? We have made a video about favourable and unfavourable pension outcomes. Watch the video for more information. It may help you understand this topic even better. You can read more about your pension scheme in the Pension 1-2-3. You can find this in MijnZwitserleven.

Good to know
The three situations are:
- If things go against you: if the economy performs worse, you may be able to buy less with your pension.
- If things go as expected: if expectations about the economy appear to be borne out.
- If things go in your favour: if the economy performs better, you may be able to buy more with your pension.
In these three situations, we take the following points into account:
- All pension providers use the same statutory calculation rules. This means that, among other things, they apply interest rates, inflation and returns on investments in accordance with the URM rules.
- Are you still accruing pension? If so, up to the agreed retirement date we take the following into account:
- Pensionable earnings that develop in line with price inflation (this is the salary that counts towards the pension scheme after deducting the part of your salary on which you do not accrue pension because of the state pension).
- For average pay schemes and final pay schemes, we take into account the likelihood of indexation being granted on your pension. How likely this is depends on the agreements about indexation in your pension scheme rules.
- For defined contribution schemes with an age-related contribution, we take into account the possibility of the available contribution increasing as you get older.
