Effective , the markups and markdowns for many subfunds within Zwitserleven Beleggingsfondsen will change.
Cardano Asset Management (the Manager) periodically reviews whether the long-term average transaction costs still reflect the actual costs. If they no longer align, the Manager can adjust the markups and markdowns. These changes take effect immediately, provided they do not exceed the maximum, and are published on the Cardano Asset Management website. The current markups and markdowns can be found in the overview of Current Markups and Markdowns.
What are markups and markdowns?
Buying and selling fund units involves costs. Cardano Asset Management passes on these costs in the form of 'markups and markdowns.' These adjustments benefit the fund, ensuring that transaction costs are covered. As a result, the price is slightly increased or decreased.
Whether a markup or markdown applies on a specific day depends on the number of units bought or sold. If more units are bought on a given day, a markup is added to the price for both buyers and sellers. If more units are sold, a markdown is applied.
